With Christmas just around the corner, why not head to beautiful Llanerchaeron near Aberaeron and discover their magical Christmas Fair.
The John Nash designed Georgian villa of Llanerchaeron is the perfect setting for one of West Wales’ best Christmas shopping experiences.
Now managed by the National Trust, Llanerchaeron was designed in 1790 and as well as the beautiful house there’s a walled garden, farmyard, lake and parkland to discover.
The Christmas Fair here is one of the largest and most popular events in the Llanerchaeron calendar, with visitors coming from far and wide to find unique gifts and discover some of the best local produce.
There are also other festive activities planned, including Winter Walks and visits from Father Christmas, ensuring something for all ages. Here we bring you our guide on what to expect at this year’s fair.
When does it take place?
The 2025 Christmas Fair will be held on the 5, 6 and 7 December, with the event open from 10am until 4pm each day, meaning there’s plenty of time to come and shop and discover new food, drink and gift ideas.

The simple answer to this question is all sorts of gift ideas as well as local food and drinks to ensure your Christmas is full of festive fun! This year there will be over 70 food and craft producers, each bringing their unique creations to ensure there’s gift inspiration for all the family.
