Ceredigion Estate Agent Wins Top Award from FSB Wales
Cardigan Bay Properties, which was started by two local mums during lockdown, has won the Federation of Small Business Wales Start-Up of the Year Award
Glynarthen based estate agent Cardigan Bay Properties is celebrating after winning Start-Up of the Year at the prestigious Welsh FSB Awards.
Organised by the Federation of Small Business (FSB), the FSB Awards are the largest of their kind, recognising the achievements and contributions of small businesses across the UK.
Having won against tough competition in the Welsh FSB Awards, Cardigan Bay Properties now goes on to the UK final, which takes place on 18 May in Birmingham, with the potential to win UK Small Business of the Year and gain national recognition.
Cardigan Bay Properties was launched in 2021 by local mums Helen Worrall and Tania Dutnell. Combining their local knowledge and estate agency experience, they provide a hybrid service that combines both traditional and online services, streamlining the estate agency process while putting the client first at every stage.
The result is five-star reviews and a customer-first commitment that has ensured they’ve almost doubled their market share over the past 9 months, while their average sales exchange time frame is just 13 weeks (the national average is 19/20 weeks).
Commenting on their awards success, Tania Dutnell says: “We’re so proud of winning this award and everything we’ve achieved over the last two years. We absolutely love what we do, the clients we work with and making a difference to their lives, and I think this is the driving force behind our success.”
All entrants to the FSB Awards are judged by a panel of business experts, each with extensive experience in their industry.
Helen Young adds: “We’ve both lived and worked in the area all of our lives, but we wanted to create our own agency – one that has a fresh approach and the customer-first commitment that we know is so important. We launched at a difficult time, but the risk has paid off and this award is recognition of the difference we make in the market and the incredible feedback we’ve had from our clients.”
